I have worked with some of Austin's finest up-and-coming artists, and recent projects include engineering or co-producing EPs for eclectic indie-pop trio Someday Parish, blues-rockers Ryan and the Relics, and nouveau honky-tonkers the Jeff Warren Johnston Band, as well as a music video for the Lonesome Heroes' psychedelic country song "Don't Play to Lose." In March 2010 I expanded my client list across the pond, working with Welsh singer-songwriter Christopher Rees and the South Austin Horns on material for an upcoming 60's-soul-influenced album.
Production-wise, I cite Tom Dowd, Steve Albini, Geoff Emerick, Daniel Lanois and Craig Schumacher (Calexico, Devotchka, Thrift Store Cowboys and more) as influences, or more importantly, People That Made Me Want to Record. They aren't afraid to experiment and neither am I. In addition to recording and mixing I am also available for mastering (CD and online-only releases). Please check out the mp3s on this site and email sarah@svbsound.com for rate information and any questions you have about your next project. |
